750 kV Shazhou full composite substation in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province
Shazhou substation is the first fully composite external insulation substation in the world. The environment and climate conditions of the substation are harsh, with strong dust, extreme low temperature, strong ultraviolet radiation and other characteristics. All the external insulation of electrical equipment in the substation and the post insulator of the substation are made by SHEMAR, which is of great significance for the promotion of fully composite substation.

Golmud Lhasa ± 400kV DC transmission project
